In terms of power, Wesa is equipped with two major powertrains of 2.0L and 2.5L HEV, both of which are available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. According to official data, the 2.0L model uses a 2.0L Dynamic Force engine with a thermal efficiency of 40%, matching the simulated 10-speed Direct Shift-CVT gearbox, and the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers under comprehensive operating conditions (NEDC) is as low as 5.9L; the 2.5L dual-engine model adopts the new fourth-generation THS II. Toyota hybrid system, and the TNGA 2.5L Dynamic Force engine has a thermal efficiency of 41%. Matching the new generation of E-CVT electronic stepless variable speed system, the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers of comprehensive working conditions (NEDC) is as low as 4.5L, and the cruising range can reach more than 1000 kilometers.
In the industry's view, when oil prices have risen sharply, the cost of fuel vehicles has increased significantly, the price of pure electric vehicles has risen, and the infrastructure such as charging piles is not perfect, hybrid models seem to have become the best choice at present, on the one hand, the cost of using cars is low, on the other hand, there is no mileage anxiety.

It is worth noting that thanks to the TNGA platform, the texture of Wesa's vehicles is very good. In the driving process, it can be clearly felt that the chassis adjustment of Weisa is very solid, which can better filter some small bumps, and the riding comfort is significantly improved compared with Toyota's previous vehicles.
In addition, Wesa is also equipped with Toyota's world-first dimmable panoramic canopy, which can switch between dimming mode and transmission mode in 1 second, both of which can block more than 99% of ultraviolet rays. The WISA Premium Edition and above are equipped with JBL surround sound system as standard, nine 1200 watt power speakers distributed in the car, and the use of Clair-Fi source restoration technology, JBL's iconic treble horn technology.
It is understood that although GAC Toyota Wesa has already been listed in January, it has not yet been delivered, and consumers who order cars in February need to wait until April to pick up the car.
GAC Toyota said that with the addition of Wesa, its SUV family has established a "pyramid" layout of SUV products led by Highlander; Weisa and Willanda as the backbone; and Fenglanda and C-HR as the base plate to develop a "pyramid" layout of SUVs, so as to further meet the diverse needs of users. According to the data, GAC Toyota's cumulative sales of 828,000 vehicles in 2021, its cumulative sales in the first two months of 2022 are 150,000 vehicles.
