The oil price is high, but the face still has to be stretched: the fuel consumption of these 2.0T luxury cars can still withstand the | state you choose the car

Bang you choose the car

Although oil prices remain high, although more and more people are turning to new energy sources. But in contrast, the vast majority of people are still reluctant to "abandon the fire" and go away.

Recently, a friend mentioned to me that I want to buy a luxury brand 2.0T model, which can be more fuel-efficient while meeting the occasions of socializing. After careful combing by the author, two models were selected from the Japanese and German systems, and the following plate was followed by everyone.

BMW 3 Series

Engine model: B48TU

After the BMW 3 Series replacement, the engine was upgraded to B48 TU, compared with the previous B48, the main change is that the B48TU upgraded the material of the cylinder head, and the GPF (particle trap) was placed in the position of the exhaust head section at the beginning of the development, which is conducive to future modification and upgrading.

Of course, for ordinary consumers, modification is not important, power and fuel consumption are king.

Taking the BMW 3 Series 325Li model as an example, the maximum engine power is 184 hp, the maximum torque is 300 Nm, matching the 8-speed manual transmission, zero hundred acceleration takes only 7.3 seconds, the official fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is 6.2 liters (NEDC working conditions), and the power and fuel consumption data are not bad.

Many people are estimated to question that such official fuel consumption data may only be run out by professional testers, but in fact, its real fuel consumption can be controlled at about 7 liters, especially when you often run high speed, the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers can even be lower than 6.5 liters.

What about in the city? According to the author's long-term observation, in the city, compared with the Buddhist system, the BMW 3 Series 100 km fuel consumption equipped with the engine is generally less than 8 liters. Of course, if the traffic jam is frequent or the driving is intense, it is a different matter.

Audi A4L

Engine Model: DTA (EA888)

Audi A4L is equipped with the EA888 2.0T engine, which is already familiar to everyone, but unlike the Volkswagen brand, the EA888 suffix on the A4L is more DTA, the difference is that Audi has an additional layered combustion technology, and its benefit is fuel saving.

The engine has a maximum horsepower of 190 hp and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, matching a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The zero-hundred-per-hundred acceleration time is 8.2 seconds, and the official fuel consumption per 100-kilometer is 6.1 liters (NEDC conditions).

According to our actual measurements, the fuel consumption of the Audi A4L equipped with the modified engine is about 6 liters at high speed, and the city is basically in the range of 8 liters and 9 liters. Of course, if you belong to the robust driving style, rarely driving intensely, the fuel consumption control at 8 liters is completely fine.

Audi A4L can maintain low fuel consumption, there are two main points: the first is the engine, in addition to the previously mentioned layered combustion technology, this engine can automatically switch to the Atkinson cycle at low speeds to improve thermal efficiency; secondly, the dual-clutch transmission, which is more efficient than the traditional AT transmission, coupled with its excellent matching with the engine (which is very good in the dual-clutch camp), and reasonable shift logic, so that the A4L can have a lower fuel consumption level.

Infiniti QX60

Engine model: KR20 (Nissan VC-TURBO)

As a medium-sized SUV with a length of more than 5.1 meters, the Infiniti QX60 with a 2.0T engine seems to have a bit of a small horse-drawn car feeling, but that doesn't mean it's really a weak chicken. From the parameter point of view, the engine code-named KR20 has a maximum horsepower of 252 hp and a maximum torque of 376 Nm, which is significantly beyond the level of the previous two players.

The reason why the power parameters are so strong is because this engine has "variable compression ratio" technology. Specifically, it is through a complex connecting rod mechanism, in different speeds and operating conditions to change the piston stroke to obtain different compression ratios, taking into account the strong power and low fuel consumption, coupled with it is equipped with a 9AT gearbox, fuel economy can be said to have obtained double insurance.

It is also true that although the QX60 has a weight of more than 2 tons, its official fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is only 9.6 liters (WLTC conditions), which is really not high in the same class.

From the perspective of actual experience, the fuel consumption of QX60 in the city will basically not exceed 11 liters, if it is high-speed, the fuel consumption can be controlled below 10 liters. For such a behemoth, this fuel consumption figure is believed to be numbered in your minds.

Acura RDX

Engine model: K20C5

When it comes to Honda's engines, everyone must first think of high-performance engines such as B16 and K20A, but with the change of the times, these engines currently only exist in the automotive aftermarket or the modification market, and this time we will talk about the 2.0T engine codenamed K20C on the Acura RDX.

The engine has a maximum horsepower of 265 hp and a maximum torque of 380 Nm, which is even slightly better than the aforementioned Nissan KR20, but because it is equipped with a mid-size SUV, it has a stronger power performance - its zero hundred acceleration takes only 7.2 seconds. Like the BMW 3 Series mentioned earlier, it is the best of several cars shared today.

This engine uses an aluminum block, and the overall performance and potential for later periods are also very strong. Its official 100-kilometer fuel consumption is 8.2 liters, which is not as economical as the 3 Series and A4L, but it is acceptable for an SUV weighing more than 1.7 tons.

According to the actual measurements, the comprehensive fuel consumption in the RDX city is about 10 liters, and the driving style is mild as long as it is about 9 liters, and the high speed can be controlled to the level of 7 liters. This is also the consistent feature of Honda engines, as long as you want to save, you must be able to save.

There is actually another reason for recommending this car, at present, acura RDX terminals are in a clearing state, and the terminal promotion is relatively large. Compared to the BBA on the street, at acura RDX, you can not only buy a high-performance engine, but also buy the handling of the BMW X3 and the excellent road four-wheel drive system.

『 Final Remarks 』

This issue recommends 4 2.0T models with relatively low fuel consumption, covering three different market segments of B-class cars, medium-sized SUVs, and medium- and large-sized SUVs, of which BMW 3 Series and Audi A4L sedans are mainstream choices, but the only thing that lacks Mercedes-Benz C-Class is because the engine displacement is strictly limited to 2.0T.

In addition, it should be noted that the 2.0T engines equipped with the cars we listed above are more fuel-efficient than the cars equipped with 1.5T small displacement engines in some working conditions, such as accelerating overtaking or going uphill.

Of course, there are many 2.0T options in the luxury car market, but they are equipped with the same engine as some of the above models, such as Q5L, such as BMW X3 and other models, which are not listed here. Now the oil price is soaring, if you still can't put down the fuel car, and you have to take care of face and purse, I can help you with this.
