First, laser headlights

1. Why choose domestic laser headlights?

The original laser headlights are very good-looking, but I have several reasons for not choosing it: the first is that the original laser headlights are troublesome to open the conditions, and the loading must be activated + programmed, and it will also affect the upgrade of the engine version.

The second is that the original laser headlight has limited brightness due to the restrictions of relevant regulations. The main purpose of my personal light change is to pursue brightness, you can not look good, but it must be bright! When the light is on the car, the high beam dog does not dare to shoot with me easily, which can reach the level of teaching each other to be human, and the brightness of the laser headlights of the original factory really cannot meet my needs.

The third is because of the price, from the initial 1.5W price increase to now close to 3 up to not slip.

Whether it is practicality + cost performance, it is not on the side, which is why I do not choose the original laser, definitely not because it is expensive.

2. Why choose second-hand domestic laser headlights?

At present, some domestic lamp manufacturers use the so-called 1:1 domestic laser headlights that are only fake lasers, but in fact, LED hanging sheep's heads to sell dog meat, and are far from the original laser shape. The second is that I don't want to be a guinea pig. The other is that if you change the lights yourself is also a very toss-up thing, according to the feedback of the group of riders from choosing laser lenses of different sizes, different versions of the daily light bar, and then experiencing the light pit, manual installation of seals is not good to turn on the lights and other lines and other miscellaneous problems, with time and money to teach people to give up the idea of changing the lights.

And the laser headlights that have been experimented by the riders can be seen on the car, plus the second-hand can save thousands, why not? True fragrance ~~~

The picture shows the completion of the first loading. I bought a laser headlamp with LK9 lens, with 4 low-beam LEDs + 4 far lasers, and the brightness is 2 to 3 times that of the original laser.

It is precisely because the lumens of the lamp are too high, and it is necessary to take electricity from the battery cable, if the wiring harness is too thin, it will cause the line to start softening not long after the opening time, and even cause the line to ignite spontaneously. As for why I know this.... Because the original wiring harness of the previous generation lamp owner is too thin to completely move this lamp, the most obvious is that there will be a very obvious delay when switching between the near and far lights, which is too serious to use the "double flash". During the period also appeared that my first loading car has not returned home, the near light is not bright, fortunately there are street lights in the city, the next morning I ran to the light shop to inquire only to find that it was the cause of the harness.

Therefore, for the sake of safety, I still decided to pay for the addition of double wiring harnesses, which can improve the stability of the headlights and the sensitivity of the switch lamp control. (Added double wiring harness, headlights are fully on, sensitivity restored, I am OK again)

After the lights were changed at night, the first subjective feeling was that the brightness was more than 3 times higher than the original factory's eye LED headlights. During the time my friend ran in front, I turned on the high beam in the back, he shouted W.C your light is too dazzling.... Like the sun...

After pasting the lamp film, the photo taken appears that the headlight is black. Asked about this kind of lamp film is domestic, during the day there is an outdoor ultraviolet lamp film will become black, to the evening no ultraviolet light will return to normal, will not affect the brightness of the lamp / night driving safety.

2. Original MP brake set (including powerful drum)

Then say the brakes, with the owner selling the car to restore the dismantled second-hand MP brake caliper + drum, close to 1.6w counting the installation fee of 1.7w (I heard that the mp caliper price increased by 2.1w + is still out of stock)

3. KW LE suspension

The suspension uses KW LE, many riders have asked after changing the suspension brakes, is the brake nod problem solved? Unfortunately, it is not completely solved, and there will still be brake nod problems.

However, there will be a big improvement, because the brakes become very linear, and the suspension will be very supportive compared to the original salted fish suspension. When braking, it can be clearly felt that at the moment when the car brakes, it will not be as easy as the original factory to nod, or feel a serious nod, and the body shake after braking.

(For example, when you are waiting in line in the city waiting for traffic lights, as long as you are not a violent brake, press the normal brake, the brake stop will not be so easy to appear and nod)

Also, the nod problem can be optimally improved by turning the suspension a little harder (but losing some of the "soft pedal comfort"). You will find that after changing the suspension and braking, it is basically like changing a car, and it can be said that the sense of control you want and the soul of the three series are back.

Fourth, forge 791 wheel hub

Then there is the wheel hub, because my personal modification concept is to adjust under the premise of maintaining the original factory style, and like other non-original style G025, FKK, BBS such personalized wheels, so choose the forged side of the 791M wheel, the spokes give people a low-key and elegant feeling, simple and generous style with a touch of business and sports, belongs to the kind of hall under the kitchen, that is, you take it as a wedding car is no problem, the mother-in-law also likes, the husband will not think you are frivolous...

Since you like the original factory style, why not choose the original 791M dismantling wheel hub directly, but run to choose the forged 791M wheel hub? There is a saying that goes like this: "One kilogram under the spring, ten kilograms on the spring".

Modification to reduce weight can improve handling, the original 791M wheel is too heavy weight, a wheel hub 12 more than KG. The forged one is only about 8KG (if I remember correctly), and the choice of the original 791M weight is not reduced without reduction or improvement, which is not related to the practicality I said at the beginning.

The second is that the original 791M wheel hub data is not good, the loading effect wheel hub is recessed into the fender, visually it is not unsightly, although the gasket can be solved but too troublesome, personal dislike / can not accept direct abandonment.

So directly choose the rider's second-hand STAR forging 791M wheel, the data is the first 8.5J et22 after 9.5Jet35, the car effect is basically flush fenders, and the STAR brand of the hub spokes are relatively concave, as far as I observe in the national forging is very good is the price is more expensive. (As we all know, the original 791M dismantling wheel hub is about 3000 second-hand, and the domestic forging 791M such as STAR's new is basically more than 1W)
