British engineering firm Bedeo (formerly BD Auto) has announced the launch of the Reborn Electric: Icons programme, which will completely revamp its first iconic vehicle, the legendary Land Rover Defender.
With its low-noise, battery-powered powertrain, the first Defender to undergo this retrofit comes with a 75 kWh battery with an expected WLTP of 247 km (153 miles), and a standard 22 kW on-board charger for a range of 100 km. It only takes five hours to fully charge at % power. BEDEO can also be equipped with an optional 50 kW fast charge that can be fully charged in 90 minutes.
Without losing the ruggedness and charm of the traditional Land Rover Defender on the road, the updated BEDEO Modified Edition transforms into an emission-free and sustainable symbol to enjoy for years to come.
