Specifically, the first-line luxury brand BBA ranks in the top three in the list. BMW is ahead of Mercedes-Benz and Audi with 62,008 vehicles, but all three have experienced a sharp year-on-year decline. Among them, Audi's sales fell by 49% compared with January last year.

It was followed by Tesla, ranking fourth with monthly sales of 27,207 vehicles, a significant increase of 39%0 year-on-year, which also shows that Tesla's price cuts have a huge effect on boosting sales.

In January, Li Auto and NIO, a new automaker, had 15,470 and 10,067 vehicles respectively, ranking sixth and seventh in the list.

In addition, NIO's performance of exceeding 10,000 in January also exceeded other second-tier luxury brands in the joint venture brand. Volvo, Lexus and Cadillac were all surpassed.

At the same time, at the end of last year, Li Bin, chairman of NIO, bluntly said that NIO's sales this year will definitely exceed the sales of Lexus fuel vehicles. According to the amount of risk in January, NIO has at least made a good start.
