With the help of modular segmentation technology, they identified 15 locations in the DNA for the first time. The Stanford team found that when a fetus develops in the womb, the gene loci associated with these modular facial features are very active.

The head of the study, Dr Peter Klaas of the University of Leuven, announced the good news that 7 of the 15 genes that have been identified are related to the nose. The nose plays a pivotal role in a person's appearance and appearance, but for forensics, it is even more significant, because it is the main obstacle for forensic doctors to reconstruct the face.
