Having been in contact with these poor children for a long time, Mai Qiongfang has also learned a lot of unknown stories, there are parents who have died, children are lonely and bitter, there are those who have been admitted to good schools and have no money to study, there are those who can't afford it at home, and they can't bear to give their children to outsiders...
All of this made Mai Qiongfang's heart ache, she knew that this was the consequence of poverty, but only by her own strength, she could not change this situation at all, only let them grow up on their own, in order to completely change this situation.
The only way to change was to read, so she decided to help her children go to school.
In 1982, Mai Qiongfang took out her savings from working for many years and gave the money to a child in need.
