Before there is no child, I think that having a child is the most difficult; having a child, I think it is too difficult to raise a child, the child eats, drinks, sleeps, stays up every day and night, when is a head; the child grows up day by day, only to find that educating the child is the most difficult, too strict, too pampered, can not do, anyone can let go, only the mother can not let go. The problem of the child is the problem of the parent, mainly the education of the mother.
Recalling the process of growing up as a child, I am also groping forward. In order to educate children well, I have read many books on parenting and learned a lot of educational theories, and in the practice of education, I have found that the following methods of educating children are effective and feasible.
1. Parent-child reading
Because I study education myself, I know the importance of letting children develop good reading habits. After the child is half a year old, children begin to be exposed to various types of books, such as cardboard books (used to recognize objects, recognize people, etc. to improve the child's cognitive level), cave books (to meet the child's curiosity, children like to hide and seek when the game, the favorite book), flip the stereoscopic book (has always been the child's favorite, five or six years old also like to flip, move, pull such a book, the three-dimensional sense is very real feeling, is also the reason why children like this kind of book).
Every night before going to bed, read picture book stories, as soon as you go to bed, you will go to get a book to read, get used to it. To increase parent-child affection, sometimes children play while listening, I think it should be to enjoy the process of being with their mothers.
The improvement of children's cognitive level, the formation of good behavior habits, and the understanding and politeness are mostly learned in picture books and stories.
2. Positive discipline
After knowing the positive discipline theory, I began to try not to yell or discipline the child, and found that it really worked.
I remember when I was angry and impatient, I couldn't help but yell at the child, and the child said to me, I scared him. Seeing the child's head down and shrinking his head, really yelling the child will regret it, so the result is that the child is timid, inferior, obedient, not how to do anything, in fact, it is just a natural reaction to being frightened, the next time it will still be committed, and it is immune to the parents' yelling, and it is like not hearing it. When I grow up, I will talk back to my parents.
Try to change yourself, try to control your emotions without yelling at the child, not too much accusation and criticism, and encourage and praise the child in time when the child is doing well, and find that the parent-child relationship is harmonious.
3. Establish rules
As the saying goes: "No rules, no squares". Educate children must make rules for children, many things are much easier to do.
Children grow up day by day, self-awareness is getting stronger and stronger, if by the child's nature, what do you want to do, the child will become self-centered, do not care about the feelings of others, grow up to lack of responsibility of the person.
Establishing rules actually lays the foundation for children's lives, such as behavior habits, getting up on time to go to bed; etiquette, treating people politely, not making loud noises in public; having a concept of time, when to do something, not procrastinating, etc.
Rules are also a kind of constraint on children, just like after school, school has school rules and discipline, and there are laws and regulations in society, which plays a normative role for children.
