In April this year, BYD's new energy sales of passenger cars 106042 units, an increase of 313.22% over the same period last year of 25662 units.

Judging from market feedback, BYD's DM-i hybrid series models are now difficult to find, and the pick-up cycle is at least 3 months or even longer.

Although the products are hot, BYD's many product lines are really complicated for many consumers, such as Han DM-i, Han DM-p these two cars make many people unable to start.

Today, the author will take you through the comparison to choose the most suitable model for yourself.

The prices of the four models of BYDHan DM-i are: 121KM Premium 215,800 yuan, 121KM Prestige 225,800 yuan, 121KM Privilege 235,800 yuan, 242KM flagship 289,800 yuan.

The BYDHan DM-p 202KM four-wheel drive flagship model is priced at 319,800 yuan.

The BYD Han DM-i series comes standard with a 1.5T fuel engine with a maximum horsepower of 139 hp and a peak torque of 231 Nm. However, the motor has a high and low power difference, BYD Han DM-i 121KM model is equipped with a 145kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the Han DM-i 242KM flagship model is equipped with a 160kW permanent magnet synchronous motor.

Although the book power is different, the official acceleration time of 100 kilometers is 7.9 seconds.

BYD Han DM-p is equipped with the same 1.5T fuel engine, matching the front 160kW, rear 200kW dual permanent magnet synchronous motors, the motor comprehensive torque of 675 Nm, under the support of the electric four-wheel drive system, so that its 100 km acceleration only takes 3.7 seconds, ranking among the performance cars.

Between BYD Han DM-i and Han DM-p, the most important selection criterion lies in the performance requirements.

The power performance of Han DM-i can already meet the daily needs of the vast majority of consumers, and the fuel consumption and cost of the car are lower, and the future vehicle retention rate is higher.

Han DM-p is suitable for the small number of people with sufficient budgets, the pursuit of high-performance driving passion, and keen to support domestic flagship models.

From the perspective of fuel consumption, the fuel tank volume of the BYDHan DM-i 121KM endurance version is 50L, the fuel consumption of the lowest charge state is 4.2L per 100 kilometers, and a tank of fuel can last more than 1000KM, whether it is in the city congested road, or long-distance travel do not have to worry about endurance.

The Price of up to 289,800 Han DM-i 242KM flagship version is not so affordable, 37.5kWh battery capacity has reached nearly half of Han EV, although it increases the pure electric endurance, but also increases the weight of the car, so its lowest state of charge fuel consumption increased to 4.5L/100KM.

Without good charging conditions, if it is only used as a fuel vehicle, the low fuel consumption advantage of the long-endurance version in the lowest charged state is slightly insufficient. Therefore, for Han DM-i, the 121KM endurance version is the most preferred.

The BYD Han DM-p is an upgraded model of the Han DM-i, which has an acceleration capability unmatched by the latter with the powerful power of the dual motors.

The lowest charge state of Hamm-p has a fuel consumption of 5.2L/100KM and a fuel tank volume of 50L, which balances performance and fuel economy appropriately.

If the budget allows, the author is personally more willing to recommend Han DM-p, after all, the 3.7s 100-kilometer acceleration has reached the supercar level, and although the price is high, it is still worth the money.

The premium type is 10,000 yuan lower than the premium type, but in the configuration, it only lacks leather seats, multi-colored atmosphere lights, leather steering wheel, and internal rearview mirror automatic anti-glare four configurations, and the actual car experience is not much different.

In addition, the Honor type retains the 12-speaker Dana audio, ensuring a high-quality entertainment experience, which can be described as sincere.

Han DM-p is a fully enhanced version of DM-i, and the zero-hundred acceleration ability of 3.7s is indeed dazzling, but it does not have too wide applicability in the daily car scene.

BYD Han DM-p base is a family car after all, starting to overtake in a straight line, but the level of handling is still far from the real performance car.

Of course, in addition to performance, Han DM-p also has a unique advantage in configuration, compared to the second top DM-i 242KM flagship (289,800 yuan), it also adds suspension soft and hard adjustment, steering wheel heating/memory/ESC, rear seat heating/ventilation/ESC, fragrance, Brembo brake system.

So, if you really can't resist the temptation of "supercar" acceleration and rich configuration, the HamM-p is also worth starting.

Ultra-low fuel consumption, comprehensive endurance of more than 1,000 kilometers, acceleration performance comparable to the hard power of luxury brands, coupled with the people-friendly price and soft power support of national brands, these have become the biggest confidence of the Han DM series to conquer the market.
