Last year, our domestic market ushered in the three large-size MPV of Kustu, Jiahua and Saina, and GL8 and Weiran belong to the same level of models, Kustu may be slightly smaller, but also more spacious than Odyssey, Alexandre and the like. This year, we will also have the same large size MPV on the market, namely the Chase MAXUS G90 and the Lantu Dreamer. They are not the same form of power, the price is also very different, we do not make a comparison, just introduce them separately, so that everyone can understand.
Chase MAXUS G90
The pre-sale price is 230,000-350,000 yuan
When the Chase G90 official picture was released, everyone was shocked, how can this car have such a large front face grille, which is also too exaggerated. When the previous declaration map was released, you could see that there were two front face shapes, but I did not feel that it would be so exaggerated. In the field of MPV, Chase has entered the market very early, but the first model G10 has not gained a foothold in the domestic field because it is too commercial, and the interior workmanship, chassis, and power unit are more inclined to commercial vehicles.
The G90 is another model for the home MPV market after the G20 and G50, and it can be found from the name that it is from the brand flagship. A very exaggerated exterior shape was used, and the front face was almost entirely covered by a chrome grille. The lighting part has a hidden feeling, the day running lights are arranged along the hood, the middle grid grid, and the headlights are placed in the traditional fog light area, which seems to be reasonable at a glance, but it is just a variant of the split headlights.
Side view G90 is actually a bit like GL8, more square, the back row is privacy glass, C-pillar has a silver trim, I don't know if it is all in the series. The shape of the tail light is basically symmetrical with the front of the daily running lamp, extending in multiple directions, and the bottom is made of hidden exhaust, which is in line with the characteristics of an MPV.
Inside the car to do a through-type screen, dashboard, central control screen, co-pilot entertainment screen fused together, the buttons are not physical, and become very few, only simple temperature, air volume, good look is good, but good to use do not know. The shift mode adopts a white gear, so the central control platform has a large area vacated, which is reasonable for the MPV model.
The G90 seen so far is high-end, I don't know if the low-end is also such a "top" of the second row of seats, on the current domestic MPV market, G90 this seat is considered to be "top matching", not to mention the wide, the material and workmanship look in place. And the most surprising thing is that the third row is also a separate seat, put on other models, the third row of G90 seats can be used as the second row, the specifications are very high, but it is still the problem, is the whole series or only high-end.
The 2.0T engine used by the G90 should be basically the same as the G20, for reference, the maximum horsepower of the G20 is 224Ps, the maximum torque is 350N·m, and the matching is an 8AT gearbox, which can be added with 92 no. 92 oil.
Lantu Dreamer
Pre-price: 380,000-600,000 yuan
The first car made a medium and large SUV, but only five seats, with pure electricity and extender two, four-wheel drive version of the acceleration thief fast. The second car turned out to be an MPV, which was a bit off the beaten track. However, in the era of new energy, it is indeed easier to get out of the circle with its own style.
The dreamer's styling is more prominent, but if compared with the G90 we mentioned earlier, it seems a bit low-key. The front face in the net is a straight waterfall grille, the day travel light strip and the two sides of the headlights connected, the headlights inside is a wing-like layout, should be with matrix LED lights. The whole front of the car still looks more domineering, suitable for the aesthetics of our countrymen.
The side lines are standard MPV, some trims can be seen on the upper edge of the window and the lower edge of the door, and the back two rows are also equipped with privacy glass, making hidden sliding doors. The tail light does not use the through-type, which is relatively rare at the moment, the tail light has the feeling of converging inward after the tail light is lit, and there are not too many design elements in the entire tail, which is very square.
I don't know if it is a coincidence, the Dreamer and the G90 both use a penetrating central control screen, divided into a full LCD dashboard in front of the main driver, a central control screen, and a co-pilot entertainment screen, but the dreamer should be equipped with the same liftable screen as the Landu FREE, and the sense of technology will be stronger. The central control platform is specially given a control panel area, the use of nature is the touch button, the shift lever uses the traditional electronic stop bar, suitable for all ages.
Just coming from the G90 seems a little uncomfortable, but the Dreamer's seat can't be said to be bad, it's a very normal independent seat, with electric adjustment, leg rest, and possibly heating/ventilation and the like. The third row of seats is also the kind we are very common, and it is very close to the GL8. However, the Dreamer also has a four-seat customized version, and the second row of that model is like the business class of a wide-body airliner, but the price is very outrageous, with a pre-price of 600,000 yuan.
Dreamer is a new energy vehicle, there are pure electric and range extender hybrid two, the declaration information in the range extender model equipped with the front 130kW, the rear 160kW dual motors, the range extender is a 1.5T engine. The chassis is front and rear double wishbones with air suspension and CDC shock absorption.
Chase G90 and Lando Dreamer should come out in the first half of this year, both of which are aimed at the home MPV market, but their positioning is different. Although the G90 is the brand flagship, it has not thought of impacting the high-end, mainly to grab customers from roewe iMAX8, Trumpchi M8, Odyssey, and buyIng Sai Na or GL8 generally does not consider this car. And Lantu Dreamer pre-sold from 380,000 yuan, obviously did not want to benchmark Sai Na and GL8, but to develop in a more high-end field, a little want to take the road of gaohe. But no matter what, there are more models on the market, which is a good thing for us consumers.
