Wuling Hongguang ranked second, with cumulative wholesale sales of only 15,834 vehicles from January to March, a decrease of 18,440 vehicles over the same period last year, down 53.8% year-on-year.
Toyota Syna, which was launched at the end of last year, sold 15,738 vehicles, ranking third and performing well. Toyota Syna's current supply is more competitive, and the launch of the new car has had a certain impact on the sales of rival Buick GL8.
The cumulative sales volume of Fengxing Lingzhi in the first quarter was 14,728 vehicles, ranking fourth, slightly higher than the 12,167 vehicles in the same period last year. Another commercial MPV, JAC Ruifeng, sold only 5,970 vehicles, down from 9,914 units in the same period last year, dropping to tenth place.
The mid-term revamped Odyssey performed well, with cumulative sales of 12,774 vehicles from January to March this year, ranking fifth, up from 9,774 vehicles in the same period last year. Sales were smaller, with cumulative sales of 8,933 vehicles in the first quarter, slightly lower than the 10,111 units in the same period last year.
GAC Trumpchi's two MPV Trumpchi M6 and Trumpchi M8 both sold more than 11,000 units, 11,717 and 11,421 vehicles respectively, compared with 7,324 crazy 13,999 units in the same period last year.
Wuling Capgemini sales fell significantly compared with last year, with cumulative sales of 8390 vehicles in the first quarter, a decrease of 15550 vehicles over the same period last year, a year-on-year decline of 65.0%.
In terms of sales of several other joint venture MPV, Volkswagen Weiran has sold 4537 vehicles, Hyundai Kustu sold 4168 vehicles in the first quarter, Mercedes-Benz Vito sold 4168 vehicles, and Mercedes-Benz V-Class sold 3947 vehicles.
