【EV Vision Report】Recently, we learned from Denza officials that the D9 will be released on May 16. The new car is Denza's first high-end MPV model, with a 2+2+3 7-seat layout with luxurious interior design and configuration.
The Denza brand has set sail and created the first medium- and large-scale high-end MPV model, the Denza D9. It is understood that the car will launch two power modes of EV and DM, equipped with four-wheel drive and two-wheel drive systems, DM-i super hybrid mode has five major strengths of fast, provincial, net, smooth and green.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a new design language, and its front face adopts a straight waterfall grille design, and with the "C" shaped chrome decorative pieces on both sides, the front face forms a "π" design element. In terms of side styling, the short engine compartment design adopted by the entire side modeling of Denza MPV, the slightly raised waist line runs from the front of the car to the rear, with a dense spoke wheel rim, blackened B-pillar and C-pillar, creating a good sense of business.
It is worth mentioning that in order to create an overall streamlined sense of appearance, the design of Denza's high-end luxury MPV sliding door and side wall is different from the traditional MPV, using an integrated and coherent side wall, which is beautiful at the same time, the side wall safety factor is greatly improved, the silence is better, and the safety and quietness of the whole vehicle are improved.
In terms of the rear of the car, the shape of the new car is also very square, and its taillight design adopts an integrated streamline element that echoes the whole vehicle, which improves the light recognition. In addition, the new car is equipped with a small roof spoiler, which enhances the overall visual impact of the vehicle.
The Denza D9 adopts a wrap-around central control layout, equipped with a suspended central control screen in the middle position, and the air conditioner outlet is below the screen. The steering wheel is also a new design, and the rear is a full LCD instrument cluster. In addition, we noticed that the car uses a crystal gear, surrounded by a wealth of functional buttons, the front of the gear is a wireless charging panel, and the rear is an openable form storage box.
Coming to the second row, depressing D9 adopts a 7-seat layout of 2+2+3. The second row is two separate seats with generous pillow rests, hand rests and power leg rests for a comfortable ride.
In terms of power, the new car will be available in pure electric and hybrid power modes for selection, equipped with BYD blade batteries. The hybrid mode will adopt BYD's latest new energy technology, or will be equipped with DM-i hybrid system, and the endurance is expected to reach more than 1000km. In addition, dexter MPV will use BYD's latest chassis technology. The suspension is expected to be only equipped with CDC variable damping shock absorbers, of course, it is not excluded that air suspension will appear as an optional configuration.
