On March 29, Guangqi Honda officially announced its new electric brand "e:NP" at the press conference, the first model is e:NP1, and subsequently, another sub-brand under "e:NP", that is, Dongfeng Honda e:NS1, also has new news, which is said to be officially listed next month, and the car has opened pre-sale, including two different configurations of the e-type version, priced at 180,000-190,000 yuan; two different configurations of the e-moving version, priced at 200,000-210,000.
As the brand's first pure electric model, Dongfeng Honda e: NS1 currently has a good heat, many people are full of enthusiasm for it, but this is actually not Dongfeng Honda's first pure electric vehicle. In 2018, Dongfeng Honda officially announced its own electrification development goals, and in 2019 launched its first pure electric vehicle in the true sense, that is, the Siming X-NV.
But this car has been frequently cold after the listing, and even has a humiliating history of cleaning up inventory at a 50% discount, so that many people do not know the existence of this car. At present, the 2021 fengchi version and the electric switch version are on sale, and the price is 169,800-179,800. Let's compare these two cars and analyze why the same Honda car is so different. First of all, let's take a look at some basic information about the two cars.
In terms of body size, the e:NS1 has a length, width and height of 4390mm/1790mm/1560mm and a wheelbase of 2610mm, respectively, while the X-NV has a length, width and height of 4280/1772/1625 mm and a wheelbase of 2610 mm.
In appearance, Dongfeng Honda e:NS1 adopts a new design language "e: N Design", the shape is simple and sharp, with a full sense of futurism, the Honda "H" logo located in the center of the front vision can be lit, the tail replaces the previous "H" logo with the "Honda" English letter, the tough body line, closed grille, narrow and sharp headlights, multi-spoke spokes and other elements to create a sense of future technology for new energy models, while showing a good sense of fashion.
The Siming X-NV is based on a previous star model, the Honda X-RV, and has a high degree of similarity in design with the XR-V. The main difference is that the front face of the X-NV adopts a double swallow wing front middle mesh, with an electroplated blue trim and Siming's brand LOGO. The side shape and line are basically the same as the XR-V, and the tail is designed with through taillights and blackened.
In terms of interior configuration, the intelligent cockpit of e:NS1 is equipped with the largest 15.2-inch HD ultra-thin bezel central control screen of the same model, as well as a 10.25-inch color full LCD digital dashboard, and the Honda CONNCET 3.0 pure electric vehicle version integrates more than 20 functions such as natural and smooth AI voice assistant, car home interconnection, energy management, OTA online upgrade, etc.
The interior design of X-NV and XR-V is basically the same, but in order to distinguish the identity of the new car, the steering wheel is equipped with Siming's LOGO, the central control screen adopts an 8-inch screen, the new car is equipped with a button-type electronic shift, dual LCD meters, one-key start, color atmosphere lights, 4G LTE networking functions, etc. In the present, these configurations are not very good.
In terms of power, e:NS1 is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 134kw and 150kw, corresponding to a cruising range of 420km and 510km, corresponding to a comprehensive power consumption of 13.6kw·h and 13.8kw·h per 100 kilometers, and a maximum speed of 150km/h. The X-NV is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 120kw, a cruising range of 480 km, a power consumption of 14.1 kWh/100 km, and a maximum speed of 140 km/h.
Through the comparison, it is not difficult to see that there is actually a gap between the two cars, but this is not the main factor that causes their heat gap. The main reason is first of all that the market environment of the two vehicles is not the same, when Siming X-NV was first listed, although the new energy vehicles had a great impact, the oil price at that time had not yet broken 9, and the price of new energy vehicles was very stable, and this car did not attract great attention.
Now different, now the oil price has exceeded 9 yuan, the demand for new energy vehicles is large, and the price increase of new energy vehicles makes consumers feel the crisis, and they want to buy a new energy vehicle they like as soon as possible, and the attention is naturally higher.
Secondly, the biggest difference between the two cars is that the car logo is different, one is the Honda car logo, and the other is the Siming car logo. Although Siming is also a Honda brand, many consumers are interested in honda's brand and prefer Honda's car logo, which has led many consumers to choose to give up, even if they buy it, they will choose to replace a car label. In such a case, its heat is naturally low.
Of course, this can also be seen in the different attitudes of Dongfeng Honda to the two cars, but the current new energy market is on fire, Dongfeng Honda certainly cannot fail to pay attention to new cars, if it can open up the new energy market, it is the best.
