According to the data, the top two cumulative sales in the first two months of this year are still Japanese Xuanyi and Volkswagen Langyi, and the leading edge is obvious. Among them, the cumulative sales of Nissan Xuanyi reached 89,062 vehicles, ranking first, and Volkswagen Langyi ranked second with sales of 77,561 vehicles, with sales of 11,501 vehicles less than Xuanyi.
The Wuling Hongguang MINI EV continued to rank third, with cumulative sales of 59,158 vehicles. The Tesla Model 3 ranked fourth, with cumulative wholesale sales of 50,660 vehicles. Tesla Model 3 is mainly sold to overseas markets, and domestic retail sales in January and February this year were only 7595 units.
BYD Qin PLUS continues to sell hotly, with a cumulative sales volume of 48,043 units ranking fifth, not only surpassing geely Emgrand, Changan Yidong and other hot self-owned brand cars, but also surpassing popular joint venture brand cars such as Corolla, Sagitar and Bora.
The Toyota Camry remains the most popular mid-size car, with cumulative sales of 41,693 units in January-February this year, ranking sixth. The cumulative sales of Honda Accord and Nissan Tianlai have exceeded 30,000 units, with 34,189 units and 32,903 units respectively.
In addition, the BMW 3 Series, a luxury brand, also sold more than 30,000 units, ranking fourteenth with sales of 31,112 units. Four joint venture mid-size vehicles, including Volkswagen Magotan, Audi A4L, Volkswagen Passat and Toyota Asia Dragon, also sold more than 20,000 units.
Due to poor sales in January, the Toyota Corolla's cumulative sales of only 35,289 vehicles ranked eighth, and even less than Sagitar's sales. Volkswagen Sagittarius and Bora sold more than 30,000 vehicles, 38,951 and 33,821 respectively, ranking seventh and tenth, and sales and rankings were not as good as the same period last year.
In terms of medium and large cars, the best selling car is the BMW 5 Series, with cumulative sales of 31,206 units from January to February this year, ranking thirteenth. The cumulative sales of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class are 22,806 units, ranking twenty-third; the cumulative sales of the Audi A6L are only 20,229 units, ranking twenty-sixth, even lower than BYD Han's sales. BYD Han's cumulative sales volume was 22,071 units, ranking 25th.
In terms of independent brands, in addition to Hongguang MINI and BYD Qin PLUS, Changan Yidong is the only domestic compact SUV with sales of more than 30,000 units, with cumulative sales of 32,069 units, ranking twelfth. MG 5 followed, with cumulative wholesale sales of 30,442 vehicles, ranking fifteenth. However, nearly half of MG 5 vehicles are sold to overseas markets, and retail sales in the first two months were only 16,466 units.
Geely Emgrand sales are relatively small, with cumulative wholesale sales of 28,569 vehicles from January to February this year, ranking seventeenth. In addition, Hongqi H5 sold 19,800 vehicles, BYD Dolphin sold 19,167 vehicles, Roewe i5 sold 18,439 vehicles, and Geely Xingrui sold 18,110 vehicles.
Other cars with cumulative sales of more than 20,000 units from January to February this year include: Toyota Ralink sold 29,721 units, Honda Civic sold 25,795 units, and Chevrolet Cruzer sold 22,081 units.
