According to the data, there are 25 models of cars with cumulative wholesale sales of more than 30,000 vehicles in the first quarter of this year (with an average monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles), including 6 independent brand cars and 19 overseas brand cars, and overseas brands are still the main sales force in the car market.
Despite poor sales in March, Nissan Xuanyi remained the best-selling model in the first quarter, with cumulative sales reaching 116435 units, nearly 10,000 more than the second-ranked Hongguang MINI. Compared with the same period last year, Xuanyi's sales decreased by 8211 units, down 6.6% year-on-year. Hongguang MINI sales of 106721 vehicles, ranking second, sales increased by 10,047 units over the same period last year, an increase of 10.4% year-on-year.
Volkswagen Langyi sales were better than the same period last year, ranking third with sales of 103601 vehicles, an increase of 6898 units over the same period last year, an increase of 7.1% year-on-year.
Tesla Model 3, BYD Qin PLUS, Toyota Camry performed well, with sales of 76,684 units, 70,985 units and 68,904 units, ranking fourth to sixth, all better than the same period last year, with year-on-year increases of 45.0%, 2297% and 73.3% respectively.
Compared with 94,978 units in the same period last year, the sales volume of the Corolla in the first quarter of this year fell not small, only 60,462 vehicles, ranking seventh, down 36.3% year-on-year. In addition, the sales of Volkswagen Sagittarius and Volkswagen Bora are far less than the same period last year, with sales of only 56,165 vehicles and 50,056 vehicles, respectively; Toyota Ralink sold 49,698 vehicles, which was also lower than the 62,483 units in the same period last year.
Honda Accord and Nissan Tianlai sales have increased, of which Accord sales of 54,856 units, ranking ninth, higher than the same period last year 45,747 units, an increase of 19.9%; Tianlai sales of 48,374 vehicles, also higher than the same period last year of 30,904 units sales, an increase of 56.5%.
In terms of independent brands, in addition to Hongguang MINI and Qin PLUS, Changan Yidong ranked tenth with sales of 40,801 vehicles, not as good as the sales volume of 54,704 vehicles in the same period last year, down 7.1% year-on-year; MG 5's cumulative wholesale sales of 44,298 vehicles, higher than the same period last year's 31,613 vehicles. Geely Emgrand sold 42,162 units, down from 48,244 units in the same period last year.
Among the traditional luxury brands, the best sales are the BMW 5 Series, with a cumulative sales of 42235 vehicles in the first quarter; bmw 3 Series sales of 34307 units, Mercedes-Benz E-Class sales of 34169 units, Audi A4L sales of 32752 units. The cumulative sales of other luxury brand cars are less than 30,000.
