SAIC Roewe announced its latest sales volume, selling 21,018 new vehicles in March, down 36% year-on-year and 5% month-on-month. Cumulative sales in the first quarter were 85,303 units, down 17% year-on-year. Among them, the Roewe i5 was insured 5,857 units in March, down 40% year-on-year, and the competitor model Geely Emgrand had 9,898 vehicles in the same month, and the i5 was not as good as 60%.
In the recent year, Roewe has actively laid out the SUV and MPV product matrix, including RX9, Whale, the new generation roewe RX5, the new RX5 MAX/eMAX, Totoro and iMAX8 EV. In the car product matrix, the main model i5 has not been listed with new or modified products since the launch of the GT version in August last year. In contrast, Changan is about to launch a new Yidong PLUS, and Geely has launched a new generation of Emgrand. According to 4S store sales, the i5 cash discount is about 12,000, the minimum naked car is less than 60,000, only about 57,000, the price is lower than Emgrand, Yidong PLUS and so on.
