Doctors estimate the maternal situation, and feel that the fetal head will cause a laceration of more than 2 degrees when the fetus is delivered, and lateral resection surgery is required;
3. The mother has had episiotomy and suturing surgery during the first birth, and the scar is extremely large after repair, which may affect the perineal dilation;
4. Help women give birth through other means, such as the use of forceps, fetal head suction, and vaginal delivery of the first hip position;
5. Sudden emergencies, such as fetal intrauterine growth retardation, intrauterine hypoxia or premature birth, need to reduce fetal head pressure, and women must give birth as soon as possible. Or if the mother suffers from heart disease, hypertension and other diseases and needs to shorten the second stage of labor, the lateral incision is the operation that must be performed.
