How did you spend this winter break? As a parent, we should stand in the position of child development and plan a good holiday life with our children, so that they can spend a pleasant and meaningful vacation in enjoying warmth and companionship, gaining self-confidence and growth.

Enjoy autonomy. The holiday is not only a time for children to rest and adjust, but also an important time to enhance students' independent development. Let your child try to learn to plan their holiday life on their own. Parents are only counselors and assistants, and parents should crouch down to stand in the child's point of view, on the basis of fully respecting the child's wishes, to help the child formulate a scientific and reasonable winter vacation plan suitable for their own reality. Let the child gradually learn to self-manage. Go to bed early and get up early, don't stay up late, work and rest regularly, ensure adequate sleep, and complete your planned tasks on time. The best role models are parents, who advise you to lead by example and live a regular life. Get into the habit of active exercise. In December last year, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission issued the "Beijing Compulsory Education Physical Education and Health Assessment and Evaluation Plan", which extends the process assessment to primary schools, and the results of the physical health tests in the fourth and sixth grades will be counted into the physical education test results of the middle school entrance examination. Parents should urge their children to carry out physical exercise for no less than one hour a day, and take skipping rope, 50-meter running, sit-ups, standing long jump, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton and other sports as important contents of sports. Use this holiday to guide their children to do what they can, do their own things, tidy up their rooms and school supplies, arrange family duty schedules, supervise children to do home cleaning and garbage sorting, middle and senior students can make simple home-cooked meals under the guidance of parents, and learn to help parents share housework.
