However, a month later, during the attack on Zhang Rirubu, a reactionary armed force in Qinan Jiawa, Wu Shouxun's performance made everyone's eyes light up.

At that time, the team responsible for attacking the strongholds on the Side of the New Fourth Army was a squadron of three detachments, and the first squadron was formed on the basis of teachers and students of Datong Middle School in Qixian County.

Although the enthusiasm of the teachers and students in the team was very high, the military quality of the crowd was generally not high, and most of them lacked combat experience.

Therefore, after the war broke out, in the face of the enemy's crazy counterattack, the offensive momentum of the first squadron was suddenly frustrated, and the casualties continued to expand.

At that time, the enemy's firepower was very fierce, which also put the first squadron into a dilemma. Wanting to advance, unable to defeat the enemy, wanting to retreat, but facing the dilemma of the enemy chasing from behind, for a time, the battle fell into a suffocating state of glue.

Under such circumstances, Deputy Commander Wang Haishan urgently ordered Wang Guangwen, the leader of the second squadron, to support the first squadron to withdraw from the battlefield.

At this time, Wu Shouxun was a member of the second squadron.

Soon after coming to the battlefield, Wu Shouxun found that the firepower that overwhelmed a squadron could not look up came from several courtyard walls guarded by the enemy, and the wisps of white smoke that came out were the gun holes that the enemy had taken out of the wall.

Subsequently, Wu Shouxun calmly counted, and there were a total of eight gun holes.

"Captain, cover me, I'll go take out the enemy's fire point." Wu Shouxun cat waist, found Wang Guangwen who was preparing to arrange to pick up a squadron.

Subsequently, under the cover of the fire of several comrades-in-arms, Wu Shouxun hid behind a half-cut wall, and he held up his Hanyang-made rifle, calmly aimed and shot.

With a "bang", a gun hole on the opposite wall was suddenly muted.

Subsequently, one shot after another, with Wu Shouxun's continuous shooting, the gun holes on the opposite wall also fell silent one by one.

The enemy's fire suddenly weakened, and a squadron trapped on the battlefield was immediately able to withdraw safely.

Wu Shouxun's marksmanship was remarkable, and it suddenly became a good story among the three teams, and later his prestige resounded throughout the New Fourth Army, which was the Battle of Doulou Village.

After Dugang was reorganized, the three detachments were incorporated into the guerrilla detachment of the New Fourth Army, and the commander at that time was Peng Xuefeng.

In September 1938, when the guerrilla detachment of the New Fourth Army of more than 300 people was passing through Doulou Village in Huaiyang County, it was suddenly attacked by Japanese cavalry, and Commander Peng Xuefeng immediately gave the order to meet the enemy with all his strength.

Although our army violently blocked the enemy army, the Japanese troops who were blocked and frustrated did not give up, and they launched attacks again and again, and there was no sign of retreat.

The leader of the opposing squad, Lieutenant Lin Jin, personally led the enemy army and launched a wave of charge against our side.

Just when the enemy and we were in a bitter battle, it was Still Wu Shouxun who stood up suddenly in the rain of bullets and bullets, holding his own Hanyang-made rifle, facing the enemy's impact, and with only one shot, he shot down the arrogant Lieutenant Lin Jin.

The shock of the death of the enemy chief made the Japanese troops next to it suddenly chaotic, and then under our charge, the enemy finally fled.

After the battle, the troops held a celebration meeting, at which Commander Peng Xuefeng personally commended Wu Shouxun and praised him as a "sharpshooter" in the New Fourth Army.

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Wu Shouxun participated in the Liberation War and continued to write his own legend on the battlefield.

On March 9, 1983, Wu Shouxun died of illness at the age of 70, and the former sharpshooter in the New Fourth Army finally fell behind the legendary prelude.
