It is precisely because of this that Xu Haidong has always felt guilty and wants to find the survivors of his family. At his insistence, several sons and nephews were finally found, which was also a matter of his own heart. Later, at the suggestion of his nephew Xu Deming, the Xu family prepared to build a martyrs' cemetery for the 66 relatives who died, and Xu Haidong was also very supportive. However, Xu Haidong said that he would do his own thing and not trouble the country. He took out all his savings totaling more than 1,000 yuan, but this was far from enough.
