Up to now, a total of 22 revolutionary cultural relics in Luoyang have been selected into the list of revolutionary cultural relics in Henan Province, including 1 national key cultural relics protection unit, 7 provincial cultural relics protection units, 12 city and county-level cultural relics protection units, and 2 general immovable cultural relics. Previously, the former site of the Luoyang Office of the Eighth Route Army and the former site of Tantou Henan University were selected into the first batch of revolutionary cultural relics list in Henan Province.
The relevant responsible person of the Luoyang Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics said that Luoyang is rich in revolutionary cultural relics resources and is one of the origins of revolutionary fires in the Central Plains, and in the next step, the cultural relics protection department will combine the requirements of party history study and education deployment, strengthen the safety supervision of cultural relics, and make every effort to do a good job in the protection and inheritance of revolutionary cultural relics.
