According to relevant information, in May 1942, the Japanese army occupied Tengchong, Yunnan Province, China, and committed many crimes here. In 1944, the Japanese army was on the verge of defeat, our anti-war soldiers launched a large-scale counterattack against the Japanese invaders, on May 11, 1944, the 20th Army of the Chinese Expeditionary Force carried out the Tengchong counterattack, and in the next two months, the expeditionary force successively uprooted the Japanese strongholds around Tengchong County, and on July 26 of the same year, it completely surrounded Tengchong County.
In the case of becoming an isolated city, the Japanese army entrenched in the territory of Tengchong still did not surrender its weapons. They occupied the city and stubbornly resisted, and fought a fierce battle with our army. In the end, our army successfully killed all the Japanese troops in Tengchong City and completely recovered the city. During this period, our anti-japanese soldiers eliminated a large number of Japanese troops, including the commander of major generals and more than 100 officers below the commander of the Kurashige Yasumi Daisa.
