During the concert, Wang Zhong, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Yunnan Provincial CPC Committee and president of the Yunnan Provincial Association for the Promotion of Cross-Strait Exchanges, said in his speech that the concert aims to build a bridge of friendship with songs, jointly feel the charm of national music, and carry forward the traditional virtues of filial piety, respect for motherhood, and gratitude of the Chinese nation.
