Qin Guangxing was one of the veterans who survived after participating in the Tengchong Campaign, he had participated in the battle in Fengshan, his buttocks were picked by the Japanese bayonet, and later in the street battle, he was wounded by a gunshot, but fortunately, although the battle situation was very difficult, these people finally survived, and later Qin Guangxing was also ordered to clean the battlefield of the Battle of Songshan, looking at the mess in the mountains, he was full of emotions, he found a tree, cut the bark, and carved a line "Autumn wind blows the grass and woods of Songshan Mountain."
Qin Guangxing was born in Liuzhou, Guangdong In 1920, because of the war, his family moved to Yunnan, after the outbreak of the War of Resistance in 1937, Qin Guangxing, who was only 17 years old, joined the army, also because in the army, Qin Guangxing was later fortunate to be admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy, and later participated in the rescue work of material transportation in Yunnan, until 1941 Qin Guangxing was incorporated into the 11th Group Army of the Expeditionary Force, during his tenure as the leader of the task force, Qin Guangxing led the troops, annihilated more than 50 Japanese troops, made battle merits, and thus awarded the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Basically from the experience of Qin Guangxing joining the army, and the history of the expeditionary force conquest is inseparable, so he also witnessed the sacrifice of the expeditionary army officers, for Qin Guangxing, the most memorable should be his own personal experience of the bombing of Baoshan City, the bomb dropped by the Japanese army, almost the entire Baoshan City into ruins, that tragic scene, people can't help but sigh.
However, even in the difficult War of Resistance, in the end with our victory and the end, after the victory of the War of Resistance, Qin Guangxing returned to his hometown, and married and had children, in the following decades, Qin Guangxing has never said his identity as a veteran of the War of Resistance, until in recent years, the deeds of the old man Qin Guangxing were discovered, but in the heart of the old man, there is always a wish. That is to return to the scene of the Battle of Matsuyama and find the tree that he carved that year.
When he was almost a hundred years old, Qin Guangxing was accompanied by people. Rushed away from the scene of the Battle of Songshan, but because the time has passed for a long time, the people who traveled with him have been looking for a long time, and they have never found this tree, and on August 20, 2019, the elderly Qin Guangxing unfortunately passed away due to illness at the age of 100.
