This is an extremely rare photograph of the Chinese Expeditionary Force during the War of Resistance Against Japan

The photograph was taken in March 1945, when all senior Chinese and American officers saluted the Chinese soldiers on the front lines before the Chinese Expeditionary Force was ready to go.

This farewell scene indirectly shows the great number of casualties on the front line at that time and the cruelty of the battle. Historically, this was one of the more successful sorties of the Chinese Expeditionary Force. At that time, the Chinese army was overwhelming to conquer Jomei, Burma, and met with the British army in victory.

How I wish these warriors, with their backs to the camera, could see for themselves the moment of Japan's surrender. At that time, it was only 5 months before Japan surrendered.
