In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car can be vaguely seen in the Weilai family design, still using a split light group shape, while the center also added an air intake gap, making its front look more recognizable.
In the front of the roof, the new car is also equipped with radar and cameras, the number and style of these sensors, and weilai ET7, ET5 is also very similar, it is expected that the new car will have at least the same intelligent driving assistance capabilities as the above two models.
In the rear part, it can be observed that there is a separate protruding part under the D-pillar, which is very similar to the taillight shape of NIO's current SUV models.
However, it was previously reported that the body size of the WEILAI ES7 will be between ES6 and ES8, which is also consistent with its naming method. At the same time, the ES7 is likely to be a large five-seat SUV, which is expected to be released at the 2022 Beijing Auto Show and delivered in Q3 2022.
Combined with the previous WEILAI second quarter 2021 financial report mentioned, in 2022 NIO will deliver three new models based on the NT2.0 technology platform, in addition to the now released ET5 and ET7, the last model should be the ES7 exposed this time.
