As a mid-term facelift, the new ID.3 will have significant upgrades in both exterior and interior, which will be released on March 1 and delivered overseas in the fourth quarter, while Volkswagen will also launch a GTX performance version based on the mid-term facelift ID.3.
According to the teaser image released this time, the shape of the headlight groups on both sides of the new car is more narrow and long, the internal light source will have slight changes, and the LED daytime running light group extending to the center of the front is separated by the LOGO of the central Volkswagen, and the overall shape is smoother than the current model.
It is reported that the new ID.3 has opened reservations overseas, with a pre-sale price of 43,995 euros (about 322,800 yuan), and is expected to start delivery in the fourth quarter of 2023. Judging from the current spy photos and design sketches, the overall line ratio of the new car is still the same as the current model, very dynamic, the front bumper has a more sporty appearance, and the LED light group at the rear has also been adjusted to a certain extent.

And in the interior section, it can be seen that the size of the new car's touchscreen will be upgraded from the current 10 inches to 12 inches, while the center console will be redesigned to accommodate a pair of cup holders. There is also a removable floor at the rear of the cabin, which will improve the practicality of electric vehicles. Volkswagen has promised to improve the interior quality of the ID.3 with more sustainable and animal-skin-free materials. Volkswagen has not yet revealed specific information about the new car's power. However, Volkswagen expects the new ID.3 to increase its WLTP range by 2%. In addition, as for the news of the long-rumored performance GTX version of the ID.3, Volkswagen has confirmed that it will launch a performance model, which is rumored to use a front and rear dual motor + four-wheel drive system, and the power parameters of the system on the ID.4 and ID.5 are 303 horsepower and 450 Nm.
