According to the exhibitor information officially released by the 2023 Munich Motor Show, there are about 700 exhibitors, including more than 50 overseas enterprises in the Chinese automotive industry, which can be roughly divided into three categories: vehicle going to sea, battery electric drive electronic control, charging and intelligent automotive electronics and software.

Exhibitors in the battery field include 13 enterprises such as CATL, EVE Lithium Energy, Sunwoda, China Innovation Aviation, Ruipulanjun, and Funeng Technology.

In terms of smart car software and hardware, it includes autonomous driving/intelligent driving assistance solution providers such as Horizon, ECARCOM, Qingzhou Intelligent Navigation, Liangdao Intelligence, Yuanrong Qixing, Gatland Microelectronics, SenseTime, Zongmu Technology, or intelligent driving hardware providers such as LiDAR.

At present, the vehicle brands announced to participate in the exhibition include six automobile brands exported from China: BYD, Zerosport, Avita, Cialis, MG and Xpeng.

BYD

BYD will release the pure electric model of the Denza D9 at the Munich Motor Show, which is the first time BYD has shown the Denza D9 model in the European market, and this car has achieved good results in the domestic market, winning the sales championship in the MPV market and beating the GL8.

In terms of appearance, the Denza D9 has a rather burly visual effect. At the same time, the front grille is also equipped with exaggerated silver trim on both sides, which can fully display the car's stylish attributes.

In terms of power, the Denza D9 currently has a 1.5T plug-in hybrid version and a pure electric version. Among them, the DM-i model is equipped with a Xiaoyun-plug-in hybrid 1.5T turbocharged engine, and the NEDC pure electric range of the two-wheel drive model is up to 190km, and the fuel consumption is as low as 5.9L/100km; The four-wheel drive model has a pure electric range of 180km and a fuel consumption of 6.7L/100km.

The all-electric CLTC has a cruising range of up to 620 km, is equipped with two simultaneous DC charging ports, and has a maximum charging power of 166kW and a range of 230 km in 15 minutes.

The chassis adopts a front MacPherson, rear multi-link suspension structure, and the FSD variable damping suspension system is standard, and the high-end model also provides Disus-C electronically controlled damping damping.

In addition, BYD will also sell six pure electric models in Europe, namely Seal, Dolphin, Tang, Han, ATTO 3 (equivalent to the overseas version of Yuan plus), and Denza D9. Among them, dolphins are shipped to Europe for sale from June 2023, starting at 29,990 euros, which is not cheap.

Zero run

On August 30, Leapmotor officially announced that it will unveil its globalization strategy at the Munich Motor Show in Germany on September 4, and its first global model will also be unveiled, the new car is positioned as a medium and large SUV, internally codenamed B11. Combined with previous news, the new car is expected to launch a five-seater and six-seat version (B13) model, with extended-range / pure electric dual power.

Previously, the spy photos of the new car have been exposed, the new car has a rather burly figure, compared with the current SUV products under Leap, the new car obviously has a more tough visual effect. The vehicle will be built according to global R&D standards and is expected to be equipped with the latest four-leaf clover central integrated E&E architecture under ELAP 3.0.

It is worth mentioning that the B11 model is 800V with lidar, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and Leapmotor OS system, Orin-X platform, CTC 2.0 technology or will be applied.

In terms of product planning, Leapmotor has said that it will launch 7 new cars from 2023 to 2025, including 2 sedans and 5 SUVs. In addition, there will be pickup trucks, MPVs, and crossover products. The vehicle architecture will cover the three major platforms of A/B/C, with a wheelbase of 2400-3100 mm and a length of 3600-5200 mm, covering A0 to C class, all driven by pure electric + extended range dual power.

In the globalization strategy, previously, Zhu Jiangming, founder and CEO of Leap, previously revealed such information: Leapmotor has the ability to export individual core components and vehicle architecture. At present, two brands have been confirmed to achieve technical cooperation, and will respectively achieve vehicle technology authorization and lower body technical architecture authorization.

If nothing else, one car company will be Volkswagen's Jetta, and the other will be Stellantis, which ranks first among global auto groups.

Avita

The previously exposed Avita 12 will also make its debut at the Munich Motor Show in Germany. The vehicle will be equipped with electronic mirrors, and there is no traditional rear windshield, and the view behind the car needs to be obtained through the rear camera lens on the roof, which means that the interior rearview mirror will also be transformed into an LCD screen display.

In terms of power, the Avita 12 extended range version is expected to use the same 1.5L extended range hybrid system as Changan Kaiyuan and Deep Blue; the pure electric version will be equipped with CATL batteries, providing two power versions: single motor and dual motor.

What needs to be expected is whether the pure electric version of Avita 12 will be equipped with the latest Kirin battery of the Ningde era, and if Avita 12 is equipped with Kirin battery, then its model with Kirin battery should be able to reach about 1000 kilometers.
