The new BMW i3 has nothing to do with the previous small bread (the old i3 owner Chen Ge does not agree with these three words, let's cross them out), and it is not difficult for us to see the relationship between the new i3 and the BMW 3 series. The i3 is the electrified 3 Series, like the iX3 and the X3. The appearance of the i3 basically retains the shape of the 3 Series, and some changes are made in the details.

The new i3 is based on the 3 Series Li of the long axis, and the length and width of the tall body are consistent with the 3 Series Li, with a wheelbase of 2966mm, which is slightly larger than the 3 Series Li by 5mm. Such a wheelbase will retain the rear space advantage of the 3 Series Li, which will be one of the selling points of the i3 after its launch.
Battery life and price

At this stage, we do not know the endurance of the i3, but we can refer to the BMW iX3 in a similar form, which is also a medium-sized car, the same fuel platform, and the same BMW. The iX3 has only one battery configuration with a capacity of 80kWh, and the i3 is likely to be equipped with the same battery. The iX3's NEDC has a range of 490km for high-end models and 500km for low-end models. The i3 is 200kg lighter than the iX3, the motor power is slightly higher, and the overall endurance may be about 500km.

The price of iX3 is 399,990-43.99 million yuan, while the current guidance price of X3 is 392,800-47.98 million yuan, which shows that the difference is not large. Combined with the current price of the 3 series, the starting price of the i3 may be between 300,000 and 350,000.

With a high-end electric vehicle like the iX that was born on a new platform, why should there be a semi-oiled electric model like the i3? In fact, BMW's CLAR platform can take into account the development of fuel and new energy models, which can save costs compared with the newly developed pure electric platform. For consumers, it is possible to have lower prices. The pure electric model developed in this way is not the same as the pure oil-to-electric model a few years ago.

In recent months, the once unpromising BMW iX3 has sold well, with monthly sales of more than 4,000 units. Behind this is the relatively low price of iX3, the same level of EQC, e-tron are higher than the same level of GLC and Q5L about 100,000 yuan. The price of the iX3 is basically the same as that of the X3. This satisfies a simple need: the same budget, similar to the X3 needs, to buy BBA, whether active or passive, to buy new energy.

Although the medium and large sedans of the BBA brand have already completed domestic production, the domestic SUV models are still at the medium-sized Q5, X3, and GLC levels. There was no shortage of rumors of domestic X5 before, and this time BMW Brilliance confirmed the rumors of domestic X5 and lengthening.
BMW X5 we are already very familiar with, the domestic X5 Li in the appearance of course basically consistent with the BMW X5. The lengthened part is the position after the B-pillar and has little effect on the shape. The domestic BMW X5 Li will be extended by 130mm on the basis of the imported X5, and the wheelbase after the extension will reach 3105mm, which has the advantage of leapfrogging for competitors GLE and Q7.
Judging from the declaration information, the domestic X5 will include two models, 30Li and 40Li, respectively, equipped with two sets of powertrains of 2.0T+8AT and 3.0T+8AT. The 30Li will be equipped with a domestically produced version of the B48, while the 40Li's B58 powertrain will be imported directly, and there is no domestic plan. The 30Li will have a maximum horsepower of 272 horses, and the 40Li will have 370 horsepower, which will be slightly higher than the corresponding models of the imported X5.
Will the price of X5 be low after domestic production?
For the domestic X5Li, presumably consumers are most concerned about the price. As the first domestic medium and large SUV of the BBA brand, the price does lack reference. At present, the imported BMW X5 guidance price is 69.99-83.99 million yuan, and the online call is cheaper than 100,000 after domestic production, will it be possible to achieve?
We can refer to two points: First of all, we can see that the current domestic BMW 5 series and imported standard shaft version compared with the price can be said to be no difference. In the past, the price change before and after X3 domestic production was not obvious, and the price difference was 30,000-40,000 yuan. Therefore, the price of BMW X5 after domestic production will not have a large dive.
At present, among the second-tier luxury brands, the two models with similar model positioning are Lincoln Aviator and Volvo XC90, which have achieved domestic production. The terminal price of the main sales model of these cars is basically in the range of 500,000-600,000. As a BBA model, the domestic BMW X5 does not have to mix with them. The space of 600,000 upwards needs to be filled by domestic X5.
In summary, after domestic production, we believe that the starting price will not be lower than 600,000, considering the impact of taxes and other factors, the starting price is more likely to be between 600,000 and 650,000. Although the starting price will not be greatly reduced, the domestic post-configuration will be more abundant, and there will inevitably be more choices.
After the X5 is domestically produced, is it worth buying?
After the BMW X5 Li is domestically produced, it will be the most expensive joint venture model. The standard wheelbase X5 may still exist in the form of imports. However, compared with the imported X5, the advantage of domestic X5 Li is definitely in the space for lengthening, relatively low price, and the cost performance is bound to be higher.

As for competitors, the situation of Audi Q7 and GLE is similar to that of imported X5, and space will be weak. For second-tier luxury, the XT6 price gap is too large to be discussed. XC90 in the high-end, Lincoln flying home high-end price, is likely to coincide with the X5 Li low-end model price, this time is to the brand or configuration of the problem, the recent willingness to buy a car consumers may wish to wait. With the domestic production of X5, we can also look forward to a wave of domestic Mercedes-Benz GLE and Audi Q7.
What is Wuling doing?
National convertible, new MPV
Wuling is once again invigorated, and the Mini EV convertible version exhibited at this year's Shanghai Auto Show is really in mass production. The production version retains the exterior styling of the concept car, with a manually folded soft top. The specific configuration is unknown, but as the first convertible for young people, the price should not be very expensive.
At the same time, Wuling also released its third silver label new car. This new car will be a 7-seater MPV product, which may be named Jiachen from the trailer. The new car will adopt a 2+2+3 layout, no side sliding doors, and the overall positioning is close to that of trumpchi M6. Judging from the various data, it may be based on Baojun 730.
How does Wuling build a god car

Jiachen will be the third model of Silver Label Wuling, which has previously released two models, Capgemini and Xingchen. Both models are tepid. Capgemini still had 8,000+ sales in the months before its launch, but now it has fallen by 4,000+ and continues to decline. Star sold 15,000 units in November, and finally had a relatively large number of models.
But what is the biggest problem for Silver Label Wuling? Although the appearance of the silver label is more exquisite, the core platform, power, etc. are still old, and compared with other models of Wuling and Baojun, it lacks essential improvement. Unfortunately, judging from the declaration information, Jiachen is the same.
In the long run, several of Wuling's divine cars have brought temporary prosperity, but we also need Wuling to enhance its core competitiveness and launch a real "god car".
