Not long ago, the Italian company Abarth updated the 2022 Fiat 500 series for the British market, offering customers two power options and a choice of four specifications. Starting at £21,295, the all-new model no longer includes the much-loved 595 Competizione, but retains the choice of hardtop and convertible models.
The new exterior series begins with the Abarth 595 model, which offers a choice of hatchbacks and convertibles, including 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome exhaust pipes and the body-tone door mirror covers. There's also a gray dashboard with black fabric seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 7-inch touchscreen, as well as stainless steel welcome pedals. In terms of performance, the 595 and convertible 595C are equipped with Koni rear suspension and high-performance braking systems, with a manual transmission as standard, with a top speed of 217 km/h and 7.8 seconds of zero-hundred acceleration.
Not only that, but the 595 Turismo has added a satin chrome mirror cap, 17-inch alloy wheels and special badges, as well as air conditioning control and navigation systems. Customers can also opt for black or brown leather upholstery.
The highest feature of the 595 Series is the F595, which is priced at the same price as the Turismo (£22,295) and is equipped with a Record Monza exhaust system, Koni front suspension and automatic air conditioning control system. The design of the vehicle is slightly different from the first two to commemorate the Formula 4 series. Of course, for an extra £2,200 you can have a 695, and in terms of power, it has the same 1.4-litre engine as the 595, with a maximum horsepower of 180 hp, a top speed of 225 km/h, zero hundred acceleration of 6.7 seconds, and also brembo brakes and Koni shock absorbers.
In addition, Abarth is decorated with gray details on the doorknobs and mirror covers, as well as on the dashboard panels. The cockpit is made of Alcantara fabric for added sportiness, and the steering wheel is decorated with carbon fiber and aluminum gear knobs. Like the 595, the 695 is also available in Turismo, with leather upholstery and Alcantara dashboard trim, as well as skylights and 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the 695 Turismo sells for as much as £25,295 and the convertible version of the 695C Turismo costs £27,945.
