According to Abarth, the 2022 series set is a tribute to the aesthetics of its founder Carlo Abarth, although there is no particularly prominent style in the styling, mainly with a modified version of the stylistic aesthetic of the first 2008 model on the new model.
The engine currently used by Abarth may be eliminated by regulations, and the current 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine can produce 163 maximum horsepower on the 595 version, 177 maximum horsepower on the 695 version, and the 500 model with the lowest power output will be abandoned in 2022. As for the appearance kit part, consumers must first choose the 595 and 695 power versions before purchasing the car, and these two power versions can be divided into the visual Turismo version or the performance-based Composite suite. First of all, on the Abarth 595, it is equipped with 16-inch aluminum rings, dual exhaust tailpipes, chrome tailpipes and body-color mirrors, gray dashboard, seven-inch touch screen, black interior, metal pedals and flat steering wheel. The chassis is equipped with Koni shock absorbers and ventilated discs, and the front dimension is 284mm, and the rear is 240mm.
Coming to the Abarth 695 model, the aluminum ring was upgraded to a 17-inch specification, special matting gray paint, and left and right double exhaust pipes. The interior of the car is replaced with Sabelt racing seats, which are made of black suede cloth and used throughout the car, and carbon fiber trim is also used to add to the sports atmosphere inside the car. The same is the Koni shock in terms of chassis, but uses more upscale specifications; The brakes feature Brembo four-pistons and the front disc size has been upgraded to 305mm.
In terms of kits, the 595 Turismo model will be replaced by a lighter Granturismo 17-inch aluminum ring, chrome-plated mirror covers, special markings, and a black or brown interior. The 695 Turismo adds an Alcantara suede dashboard and skylight.
The 595 Competizione Performance Kit, which will first replace the Record Monza Sovrapposto exhaust system, comes with a special shape stacked vertically, a 17-inch shaped aluminum ring and a special factory emblem, and an upgraded version of Koni for the shock absorber. Finally, the 695 Competizione will also be replaced with a Record Monza Sovrapposto exhaust pipe, a Sabelt racing seat with yellow stitching and a carbon fiber shell, and a mechanical limited-slip differential in the manual transmission.
