From the outside, the new BMW i3 basically follows the design style of the fuel version of the 3 series, retaining a larger size of the double kidney grille, but it is closed, supplemented by a chrome decorative border, and the grille is flanked by a new style of "angel eye headlights", the lines are more three-dimensional, and therefore more layered.
The new car has a length, width and height of 4872mm/1846mm/1481mm, and a wheelbase of 2966mm, which is larger and longer than the BMW 3 Series long wheelbase version.
The sides and tail are also based on the current 3 series, the classic Horn is not absent, and the i3 logo at the bottom left of the tail indicates its identity.
In addition, its wheels are designed exclusively, available in 18-inch and 19-inch sizes, and will provide six kinds of paints for users to choose from.
The interior also follows the design concept of the current 3 Series, the screen adopts a dual screen design, integrates a 14.9-inch touch display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and tilts slightly towards the driver, improving the technical attributes.
In terms of power, BMW Brilliance i3 is equipped with the fifth generation eDrive powertrain, with a maximum power of 210 kW, a maximum torque of 400 Nm, and an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.
Matching the ternary lithium battery with a capacity of 70.27kWh, clTC has a cruising range of 526 km, holds a fast charge, can recharge 97 km in 10 minutes, 10%-80% charge time of 35 minutes, and the maximum speed of the car is 180 km / h.
According to the declaration information, the rear axle of the car is equipped with air suspension as standard, and the original anti-roll rod is also used, which is also the main reason why its driving experience is better than that of the fuel version of the 3 series.
After the car is listed, it will compete head-on with Tesla Model 3, but due to the identity of "oil to electricity", the prospects of BMW i3 are not optimistic.
