XPILOT Intelligent Driver Assist System
As a mass-produced smart car equipped with lidar, the Xiaopeng P5 is equipped with the latest XPILOID 3.5 intelligent driver assistance system, equipped with SA8155P Snapdragon chip and 2 lidars in terms of hardware. In addition, it has 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 13 vision cameras for different purposes.
According to official data, the dual lidar located on both sides of the bumper can achieve centimeter-level high-precision ranging, and a single radar can cover the 120° sector detection area in front, with a maximum detection distance of 150m. Lidar can strengthen the detection ability of pedestrians, static obstacles, and small objects, covering more use scenarios.

When we arrive at the target parking space, we can choose APA intelligent parking or manual parking target parking, both of which can normally carry out parking memory and will not affect the route entry process.
It is worth noting that the speed of the car should not be too fast during the entire route memory process, and it can be kept at about 14km/h. After this upgrade, the memory route mileage will also become longer, from the existing 1km to 2km, making it easier for users to reach some of the farther or deeper parking spaces.
