As we all know, electric vehicles lead the way in fuel vehicles with intelligent technology, basically presenting all vehicle information in digital form, which is also a major selling point.
Although this form is relatively advanced, I am afraid that it is easy to have problems. Take the model 3 this time the speed unit is missing, there will be no such low-level error in the fuel vehicle, which reflects the mechanical quality of the fuel vehicle or reliable than the electric vehicle.
I don't know if you found it, since there is an OTA, almost all the faults can be solved through the OTA, which seems to have become a shield for electric vehicle companies. Unlike before, we can see which parts have been replaced and repaired by the recalled vehicles, which can be seen and touched, and the heart is more solid. BYD's achievements in the field of new energy, we are obvious to all, although sales are rising, a car is difficult to find, but also can not avoid quality problems. On April 29, BYD issued a recall announcement recalling some of the Tang DM models produced from September 2, 2021 to March 14, 2022, with a total of 9,663 units.
Reason for recall: Power battery pack tray Due to manufacturing reasons, the installation surface of the tray breathable valve is uneven and there is a risk of water ingress. This may cause the electrical circuit failure of the power battery system, and in extreme cases, there is a risk of thermal runaway of the power battery, and there is a safety hazard.
According to BYD's arguments, the reason for the spontaneous combustion of Tang DM is that there are process defects in the battery pack tray, not the problem of the blade battery. However, according to several recent Tang DM spontaneous combustion incidents, it has not been found that the vehicle spontaneous combustion caused by water ingress has not been found.
