Close cooperation with China and Russia is the only option that best serves Mongolia's interests from any point of view, and China and Russia have always been good to Mongolia.
The energy transportation pipeline built by China and Russia before also passed directly through Mongolia, just to give Mongolia a toll, in fact, China and Russia have other options.
For example, it is better to cooperate with Kazakhstan, or simply build a transport line directly on the northeastern border between China and Russia, than to see Mongolia in it.

And Mongolia, which has been engaged in the third neighbor and cooperated with Western countries on the one hand, may be a pawn similar to Ukraine in the eyes of the United States.
If Mongolia really completely turns to the United States, and even allows the United States to station troops in Mongolia, then Mongolia will not end much better than Ukraine.
Mongolia should have a clearer and deeper understanding of what the United States really is. What the United States has always pursued is an America First strategy.
