John Craby's distillery launches the first single malt whisky

Chain Pier Distillery, an experimental winery owned by John Crabbie & Co, part of Halewood, the UK's fastest-growing independent alcoholic beverage company, launches its first single malt whisky: Crabbie Chain Pier Lowland Single Malt.

The wine has been heavily roasted in a new virgin barrel with a strong abv content of 57% ABV and a limited edition of 234 bottles. According to the winery's official tasting, the taste is light and fruity, with a hint of berries, forest fruits and green apples, and the taste is rich in caramel, sweet malt and ginger spices, with a long, sweet and spicy aftertaste.

Chain Pier Distillery is an experimental miniature artisanal distillery in Halewood for experimental production, which ran experimentally for only one year from 2018 to 2019, with a total of only 39 barrels of whiskey produced by the 500-liter still. In 2020, another Halewood distillery, Bonnington Distillery, began distilling and barreling, which is expected to begin bottling in 2023. As a result, the Chane Dock Distillery will soon end its mission. As a result, the Krabi Chane Marina single malt whisky launched during this period has a good investment collection value.
