He was a native of Chaoyi, passed the entrance examination, and later became a military minister, Hubu Shoshu. He proposed to the imperial court to build a Fengtu Yicang, received an appropriation of 30,000 taels of silver, and entrusted the Chaoyi County Order to be responsible for the construction. After the completion, he also went to the county with the local people to kneel and thank the county order.
Fengtu Yicang has been in use for hundreds of years, the national grain storehouse is still storing grain here, Yan Jingming also built this granary by later generations of people revered, known as the prime minister of the rescue time.
