Kazakhstan plans to open an Airbus Aircraft Service Center
Harp News Agency/Nur-Sultan/From February 9 to 2022, Kazakhstan will implement a series of promising projects in the field of defense industry.
One of the main tasks in the field of domestic defense industry is to develop the technical infrastructure and human resources of enterprises.
This will provide impetus to the development of modern weapons and equipment for the armed forces, other forces and military units.
Specifically, this year it is planned to implement the Mi-171 helicopter assembly project at aircraft maintenance plant No. 405; open an Airbus aircraft service center in Kazakhstan Aviation Industry Co., Ltd.; produce technical equipment for improving the protection of the national border at the Petropavre Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Plant; and implement production projects related to radiation and chemical protection devices in enterprises such as «Тыс», «Алма МҮ» and «Милитарм».
In addition, projects will be implemented for the modernization of armored vehicles, automatic ammunition, wheeled armored vehicles, and the production of АК-12 and АК-15 rifles.
