Remember the hero: Guan Guang wields a sword to split the Japanese

In the spring of 1943, Guan Guang went south with his troops to participate in the battle in the Yancheng area. One morning, when the troops approached Yancheng, they encountered the Japanese and puppet troops who had gone to the countryside to "sweep up", and the battle was very fierce.

At that time, Guan Guang was responsible for delivering food and water. As he carried his burden to a remote place, he overheard obscene laughter coming from a grass hut on the left side of the road, and from time to time there was a woman's cry for help. Without hesitation, Guan Guang lowered his burden and approached the grass hut, went to the window to look, and found two Japanese kos who were ravaging a woman. He was suddenly enraged, and he jerked out the large knife in his waist, turned sharply, and rushed into the room with a loud roar, and the Japanese Kou did not know what was going on, and Guan Guang's big knife had already cut off the head of a Japanese Kou. The other Rikou saw that the situation was not good, and rushed to grab the gun leaning against the wall, but before he could catch his hand, Guan Guang's large knife fell from the top of his head again. Two Japanese were eliminated at once. Guan Guang, with a triumphant smile, carried the burden and the two guns of the Japanese Kou into the line of fire.

Guan Guang, born in 1920, is a native of Sanwa Village, Beiwan Township, and a poor farmer. In February 1942, he joined the Third Division of the New Fourth Army, serving as a cooker and a messenger in the company, and joined the Communist Party of China in the autumn of 1943. He died in 1982.
