Born in 1966, in order to trick others into believing that his medical skills were superior, and even returning to his old age, he entrusted someone to make a fake ID card and changed the year of birth to 1932. Many people were surprised to see Lao Zhang, people who were nearly 90 years old looked no different from people in their 50s, that must be a divine doctor!

Lao Zhang did not rely on medical skills to treat diseases, but relied on drinking tea, talking with his heart, and brainwashing the victims in the form of pyramid schemes. Most of these victims are women with better economic conditions, their education level is not high, their sense of prevention is poor, they have been brainwashed several times, and they can be said to be convinced of Lao Zhang's words. Six of the victims were seriously ill, and because they believed Lao Zhang's lies, they only drank "divine tea" and did not take medicine, resulting in aggravation of their illness and finally died.

Lao Zhang not only relied on pit deception to frantically amass wealth of more than 16 million, but also raped 10 women under the pretext of testing loyalty and treating diseases. Recently, the criminal gang headed by Lao Zhang was cracked by the police.

As far as the information currently available is concerned, the facts of this case are more complex and involve multiple crimes.

1. Fraud

Lao Zhang and others fabricated facts and forged the image of a "divine doctor" with the intention of defrauding the victim of money, which belongs to the category of fraud. The amount of which is so great and the consequences so severe that, according to the Criminal Law, shall be punishable by fixed-term imprisonment of not less than ten years or life imprisonment, and shall also be fined or have their property confiscated.

2. The crime of rape

Lao Zhang deceives the victim's trust under the pretext of "testing loyalty and curing diseases" and thus having sexual relations, which is "other means" in the crime of rape in article 236 of the Criminal Law. For 10 victims, the penalty shall be fixed-term imprisonment of not less than ten years, life imprisonment or death.

3. The crime of illegally practicing medicine

Lao Zhang has no relevant medical background, let alone obtained professional qualifications as a doctor, but he treats others privately, causing the serious consequences of 6 deaths, which is obviously suspected of constituting the crime of illegal medical practice under article 336 of the Criminal Law. In accordance with law, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years and shall also be fined.

In addition, Lao Zhang and his gang may also be suspected of constituting other crimes such as forced trading and illegal business operations. On the whole, it is likely that what awaits Lao Zhang is life imprisonment or even the death penalty. Other members of the gang are determined separately after considering their contribution to the crime.
