Qiu Jinhui joined the Communist Party in 1926, and he and his comrades propagated revolutionary ideas everywhere, organized peasant revolutionary brigades and self-defense forces, and in 1928 participated in the peasant uprising organized by Fang Zhimin, bringing heavy blows and casualties to the enemy many times.

During his participation in the battle, Qiu Jinhui was brave and strategic, unyielding when encountering the enemy, daring to fight desperately, even if he did not have the advantage, he still dared to fight the enemy to the death.

However, during a battle in June 1928, Qiu Jinhui was unfortunately arrested. The enemy wanted to persuade him to surrender, allowing him to be a high-ranking official Houlu, a money beauty, but Qiu Jinhui was not moved.
