It turned out that 19-year-old Ding Youjun was an underground party member in Xichang County, and on the way to deliver information, he was caught by a gang of bandits, and the bandits and Ding Youjun said:

On September 27, 1931, Ding Youjun was born in Leshan, Sichuan Province, a salt merchant family, she received a good education, after entering the Chengdu Girls' High School, she participated in the students' patriotic movement many times, and later joined the Communist Party of China.

In May 1950, Ding Youjun was assigned to work in the Xichang area, where bandits often roamed, responsible for collecting grain, although Xichang had been liberated, bandits were very rampant, often going down the mountain to massacre revolutionary masses and Communists.

Ding Youjun risked his life to carry out grain collection work, and explained the national policy to the masses, on September 17, 1950, when Ding Youjun was collecting grain in Yulong Town, he was caught by bandits.

The bandit leader took Ding Youjun to the mountain, invited her to drink wine and eat meat, and promised that as long as he told her about the distribution of the People's Liberation Army in the city, he would immediately release her.

But Ding Youjun was not afraid at all, angrily kicked over the wine jar with his feet, and the bandit leader became angry and embarrassed, let people strip Ding Youjun of his clothes, and used all kinds of torture, whipping, pepper water, red soldering iron, tiger stool all used again.

But Ding Youjun just refused to say it, and encouraged the captured warriors next to him to persevere to the end.

The bandits plunged the steel needle into Ding Youjun's breast, took turns to ravage this 19-year-old girl, came up with all kinds of torturous means, tortured her all night, and after 8 bandits ravaged her all night, they also tore off the skin of Ding Youjun's left breast.

The next day, this gang of bandits tied Ding Youjun to Gaocaoba Township, stripped her of her clothes and paraded through the streets.

When touring the streets, the people on the street shed tears and turned their backs, Ding Youjun is a local heroine, deeply loved by the people, but under the oppression of bandits, dare to be angry and dare not speak,

After the bandits paraded Ding Youjun to the streets to show the public, they took her to the cruel throat cutting near the Anning River, and the fierce bandits still did not let her go, and began to humiliate Ding Youjun's body, lifting his feet and dragging it for more than two miles, Ding Youjun's body was grinded to a blur of flesh and blood.

The body was thrown into the river.

On the fifth day of Ding Youjun's sacrifice, the party members in Xichang held a meeting and decided that they must avenge Ding Youjun, and in the anti-rebellion movement, the bandits who killed Ding Youjun were arrested and sentenced to death.

After the bandit leader Zhao Ming'an fled to Yanyuan, he was killed by the People's Liberation Army on the banks of the Tree River, and finally gave a bad breath for the martyr Ding Youjun.
