Recently, Mr. Liu, a citizen, reported that the 360 security guard software in his computer has continuous pop-up windows, and there are more than 50 options in the "pop-up settings".

According to the video recorded by Mr. Liu, there are 3 options in the upper right corner of the advertising box in the "360 Calendar" section: "No more today", "No more recent ads", and "No ads in the near future".

Can't close the pop-up window? 360 Response: No "One-Click Off"

Mr. Liu said that after he clicked "Do not show ads in the near future", a new ad page popped up on his computer a short time later. There are a variety of options to close pop-up ads, including "Don't show again", "Don't show for 7 days", "Don't show for 14 days", "Don't remind again", "Turn off personalized recommendations", and so on. "No matter which option I click, after a while, the pop-up window will be exactly the same."

On May 20, the official customer service of 360 Security Guard Software introduced: "No more display today" means that the ad will no longer be displayed today; "Recently no longer shown" means that the ad is no longer shown; "Recently not showing ads" means that ads for the corresponding section have not been shown recently. However, the customer service did not give a clear response on the "recent" time frame.

Is there a way to just close all pop-ups? The customer service staff replied: "Users can set up to cancel pop-up ads after checking the relevant boxes in 'Settings'. If the user still has ads popping up after setting up, they can click on 'Feedback' in 'Settings'. The user submits a description of the situation in the background and attaches a screenshot, and the staff will generally check and reply within 1~3 working days. ”

"Can I set up a one-click feature to turn off all pop-up ads?" The customer service staff said that they would escalate the user's needs and the product and development department would evaluate and reply. (Changjiang Daily)
