Yantai Development Zone Bajiaowan International Convention and Exhibition Center will usher in the first exhibition in May this year, and the first exhibition will be finalized as 'Yantai International Equipment Manufacturing Expo'
With the theme of 'Promoting the Transformation of New and Old Kinetic Energy and Boosting the Construction of a Strong Manufacturing City', the exhibition comprehensively displays high-tech equipment for intelligent, international and high-end manufacturing industries, and explores a way for the high-quality development of Yantai's manufacturing industry.
It is understood that the total construction area of the Octagon Bay International Convention and Exhibition Center is 246,000 square meters, and the highest point of the building is 69.6 meters.
The center is divided into several parts: Hall A, Hall B, Login Hall, Multi-functional Hall and Comprehensive Cultural Activity Center. Among them, the exhibition hall area is about 105,000 square meters.
After the overall completion, it will become the largest international convention and exhibition center in Yantai, which integrates exhibitions, conferences, entertainment, leisure and tourism.
The west extension of the haibin road east of the Octagon Bay International Convention and Exhibition Center is also in full swing, and will be opened to traffic at the end of February this year. Although the vicinity of the convention center is relatively desolate in a short period of time, it is believed that the supporting facilities will be gradually improved in the near future.
The use of the Bajiaowan International Convention and Exhibition Center has made up for the lack of a large-scale exhibition center in western Yantai, which will be of great significance to promoting the transformation and upgrading of regional industries, expanding the influence of the city, and boosting the high-quality development of the convention and exhibition industry at the municipal and district levels.
