In order to enrich the cultural life of the masses, promote smoke-free health culture, and scientifically popularize the knowledge of tobacco hazards, on February 11, on the occasion of the Lantern Festival, Jieshou launched the "Our Festival, Lantern Festival---- Sending Cigarettes = Sending Hazards" square tobacco control publicity volunteer service activities.
As the rural saying goes, "Before the fifteenth is the year", during the Spring Festival, everyone visiting relatives and friends may wish to bring some gifts and express their blessings by giving gifts, including tobacco products. However, tobacco is the deadly killer of human health. Tobacco smoke contains hundreds of toxic and harmful substances, of which at least 70 can cause cancer. Both smoking and second-hand smoke can pose a serious health hazard. For the health of yourself and your family, abandon the stereotypes and bad habits such as sending cigarettes and respecting cigarettes, so that you do not smoke, do not send cigarettes, do not respect cigarettes, do not persuade tobacco, protect the health of your family, and spend a smoke-free healthy festival together. Most of the volunteers participating in the unit of family participation and some holiday social practice college students, they are carried out in groups, some squares to pick up cigarette butts, confetti, some to introduce the patriotic health campaign to the publicity of the exhibition board knowledge, and some to the public to distribute the "Voice of Tobacco Control" leaflet. Volunteers publicize the harm of smoking, second-hand smoke and third-hand smoke to the human body, the benefits of smoking cessation, and advocate that they participate in the creation of smoke-free families and share a healthy life.
At the end of the activity, volunteers and citizens participated in the patriotic health campaign knowledge lottery activity with the theme of "stressing civilization, casting health, keeping green, and emphasizing environmental protection". They only received exquisite small gifts, but also learned how to advocate and practice a civilized, healthy and green lifestyle.
