Eating lanterns, guessing lantern riddles, lion dances, rowing dry boats, the customs of the Lantern Festival have long been familiar to the heart, but what I miss most is the flower lamp. When I was a child, I visited the temple fair, at that time I only felt that the lights were dazzling, I was not interested, and now many places are no longer interested in these, I feel that it is a pity that such a dazzling feast may only be slowly entertained in the long memory and dreams. Whenever I think about it, marvel at how at the beginning of this festival people think of dispelling the darkness of the night with light, and pray for the blessings of the year against the beam of light that coincides with the moon.
The fifteenth day of the first month is for the upper yuan. A long time ago, there was a custom of sending lanterns to pray for blessings on this day, but it was only a spontaneous activity of the people, and since the Continuous Introduction of Buddhist Culture to the Central Plains, the official would burn lamps to praise the Buddha in the palace temples to promote buddhism. In the Tang Dynasty, there was officially a rule of "burning lamps for Buddhas", and after this, shangyuan node lamps also became a legal custom activity.

Perhaps the ancients looked at the round of bright moon in the sky alone to illuminate the Qin brick Hanwa lonely and lonely, and put a lamp of Kong Ming lanterns to accompany it to shine in unison; perhaps there were too many unfulfilled wishes, pushing a small flower lamp to carry the expectation to the middle of the river; perhaps youth is still there, the day is short, the night is long, so light a small lamp, converging into the sky, the floating light of the city, can withstand the cold of the winter night, can withstand the vicissitudes of the years. At that time, there were no modern neon lights everywhere, and every light was a good wish for people.
The ancient custom of burning lamps no longer exists, but under the fragile exterior, the beating lamp flowers seem to be still burning, burning more and more vigorously, burning more and more intensely, the light and heat emitted can faintly pass through the gap of time and space, warm so far, today's lanterns will be more colorful, dazzling, dazzling.
