Purple sand art is a traditional Chinese cultural art and an important part of ceramic culture and ceramic art. In order to celebrate the holding of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Expo specially invited Wu Xiaolin, a master of arts and crafts and ceramic art in Jiangsu Province, to create a group of large-scale purple sand sculptures with the theme of ice and snow sports.
