"Qing offering" refers to the elegant offerings, from the early Qing fruits, flowers and other elegant items that can be enjoyed, are classified as "Qing offerings". On January 18th, an exhibition of "Four Hours of IdleNess: True Interest in Qing Dynasty" was held at the China Garden Museum.
"As a traditional custom, Offerings are actually closely related to gardens. For thousands of years, Qingfu has always been placed in gardens, residences, etc., becoming the scenery of the garden, the embellishment of the residence, and the sustenance of people. The relevant person in charge of the Garden Museum explained that the exquisite aesthetics of the garden can be interpreted from the perspective of Qingya Wenxin," Qingfu pinned on the literati's leisurely interest and sincere feelings, carrying people's yearning for a better life. We can glimpse the ancient people's offering customs and the culture of the years from the calligraphy and paintings, ancient books and utensils of the past, and feel the unique charm of the traditional Chinese cultural spirit. ”
According to the order of the four o'clock in spring, summer, autumn and winter, the exhibition explains the use of Qing offerings in halls, courtyards, study halls, and living room spaces, shows the traditional life concepts contained in the four hours of Qing offerings, and presents the material and spiritual world of the ancients and Qing offerings as companions. The exhibit categories cover 77 pieces (sets) of calligraphy and paintings, ancient books, utensils, furniture, etc. Among them, purple sand pots from the collection of the Garden Museum, including purple sand orchid pots, purple sand white mud painted plum bamboo chrysanthemum rectangular pots, etc., were exhibited for the first time.
The exhibition hall also arranged an interactive experience space to display the extended content of the qingfu culture of each scene through multimedia scenarios. According to reports, in the next exhibition period, the exhibition hall will also hold activities such as "piano, flowers, tea, incense", or there will be a small competition of "Long Things And Enjoy Life", which will allow the audience to have an immersive experience through various ways.
