"Pure conscience like clay"
I met Chen Yixun by chance. Last year, I was helping someone write a book, and when I asked my friend Levy about publishing, he recommended it and said he was a professional.

Later, it was learned that Chen Yixun's main identity today was actually a purple sand craftsman. When he was a publisher more than ten years ago, he was mostly responsible for books and periodicals related to purple sand art. Immersed in it for a long time, after all, it can not resist the charm of combining this ingenious work and humanities.
So as an amateur, he studied art with a teacher, and was fortunate to be guided by Mr. Hu Jianjun, a doctoral supervisor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University; a pottery carving master from Mr. Li Shangqing; and also because the master got acquainted with Master Tianwan, which invisibly affected his faith and style of work...

Talking with Chen Yixun about cooperation with famous calligraphers and painters, what he repeated many times was also "serious".
As we all know, the participation of calligraphers and painters in the creation of purple sand formed a trend in the Qing Dynasty, and then gradually became a tradition. Perhaps many people think that in such cooperation, the purple sandsmith only needs to draw gourds in the same way, but in Chen Yixun's view, the person holding the knife must understand calligraphy and painting to carve calligraphy and painting, as he often said: "It takes half an hour to carve a pot, and it takes three days to read the painting." ”
Chen Yixun remembers that the opportunity for his cooperation with famous artists was first laid in 2011, when he was recommended by Mr. Hu Jianjun to meet the famous seal engraver Mr. Lu Kang.

Because there are always people in this world who do things that do not take others as the standard, more often than not, they have to "pass this pass in their own hearts." He has this "golden thread" in his heart, which is the "tradition" he has accepted since he was a child.

What impressed him even more was that when he was young, he watched his grandfather help people nail, and then his grandfather said to him: "Make a square nail with round steel, you don't think it is very simple, it requires a lot of skill." He also remembers that his grandfather only has a primary school education, and although the brush characters are generally written, he still insists on writing the Spring Festival every year, which may be his initial feelings for the brush. Grandpa also made a very heavy promise, when they went to the northeast to make a living, the fellow asked him to bring back a sum of money, he put the money in the most intimate underwear, said: "Rest assured, people are in the money." ”
Chen Yixun felt that the influence of the elders on the younger generations was very magical, many words and deeds were not very concerned at that time, and when he grew up, he suddenly realized that these had long been planted in his heart, and took root and sprouted into a part of him, affecting his values and attitude towards people. She writes articles that can pay attention to every punctuation mark, daily such as inviting friends to the home, often arranged a day in advance, meticulous to the position where each friend sits after entering the door, "She puts serious integration into the bits and pieces of life, giving people a 'trickle, into the river and sea' feeling, really admired." ”

Therefore, he never stopped along the way, and in addition to deepening his pottery carving skills, he still struggled with calligraphy and painting. Talking about recent homework, he laughed and said that he was practicing calligraphy, li, cursive writing, and Linsong painting, "learning more from the ancients, hoping to extract inspiration from them and achieve their own work language." ”
Naturally, he also knew the importance of cultural literacy, so he read books, visited museums, and visited daily life, accumulating day by day, and enjoying himself.
