In recent years, Harbin has followed the law of intangible cultural heritage protection, inheritance and development, and on the basis of rich local regional characteristics, actively promoted the innovative development of excellent traditional culture under the new situation, and the innovation and influence of intangible cultural heritage have continued to increase. By the end of 2021, the city has carried out the seventh batch of intangible cultural heritage project evaluation, and there are currently 233 intangible cultural heritage projects in the city, including 6 at the national level, 113 at the provincial level and 114 at the municipal level. There are 227 inheritors (5 at the national level, 77 at the provincial level, and 145 at the municipal level), and 1458 with apprentices. An intangible cultural heritage appraisal mechanism has been established, with 42 special experts. To help the integration of cultural tourism, as of the first half of 2021, a total of 158 cultural tourism products have been converted. Each district and county (city) of Harbin Has 9 intangible cultural heritage exhibition halls, 6 intangible cultural heritage folk customs museums, 63 non-genetic heritage institutes, and 1 productive intangible cultural heritage protection base.
